Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal admits he'd welcome James Rodriguez to the Nou Camp.

After James and Bayern Munich chose not to pursue a permanent deal following a two-season loan from Real Madrid, the Colombia captain's future is again up in the air.

Vidal played with James at Bayern a year ago and would be happy if he was to make the controversial move.

"I would really like to play James Rodriguez again," said the Chile midfielder.

"I would love it very much, but he has to make the best decision for himself."
