Victor Fernandez has been offered a role with Real Madrid's academy.

The former Deportivo La Coruna coach is a free agent and is being offered a chief role with Real's youth system.

Marca says Victor has asked for some time to take a decision, as he waits to see if any reputable club offers him a position as a manager.

If no more tempting offers come in, then he'll accept the offer from 'Los Blancos' and the agreement will be formally announced in the coming days.
