Vicente Boluda says he will be competing for the Real Madrid presidency.
The current president of the Aguas de Valencia basketball team was in charge of Los Blancos for six months in 2009.
"Florentino Perez's management has been stupendous," he told Radio MARCA.
"If I say that it's been bad, I'll be told that I'm crazy.
"But I'd like to be president of Real Madrid again and I'm thinking about running in the elections."
Real Madrid are in a strong position financially and Boluda thinks they can get through the coronavirus crisis just fine.
"I suppose Real Madrid will have enough breathing space and a full stash [of money] to get through these months like this," he said.
"If Real Madrid do need to hand out pay cuts, they will have to do it, no matter if it hurts."
