Manchester United were boosted by the news that two senior players have returned to training.

Both Raphael Varane and James Garner were spotted in United's most recent training session in Australia, as they continue pre-season preparations.

Neither played in their recent win over Crystal Palace, but could be in line to face Aston Villa on Saturday morning.

United have been impressive in pre-season, beating Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, and Palace so far.

New boss Erik ten Hag has been working to improve the playing style at the club, along with their work off the ball.

United also have friendlies against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano before the Premier League season begins against Brighton on August 7th.
