Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is full of praise for head coach Erik ten Hag.
The two Dutchmen got to know each other better over the past week, with Van Persie joining in with United training as part of completing his coaching badges.
The Manchester Evening News added that such a reunion does not mean Van Persie is considering rejoining United as a coach, as he is still committed to spending more time with his family after retiring.
Van Persie, now on staff with Feyenoord, was delighted at the reunion, posting a photo on Instagram of himself, coach Benni McCarthy, and young wingers Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri
He added the caption: "Thanks for the warm welcome, @manchesterunited and Erik ten Hag. Great time back at Carrington for a trip down memory lane and to learn the ropes from one of the best coaches in modern football."
