Valencia will host Atalanta in preseason next month.

The Trofeu Taronja celebrates its 50th edition in 2022 and Valencia will face La Dea to mark the occasion.

The match against the Serie A side will take place on August 6th and will be the only preseason fixture for the 2022/23 season that Valencia CF will play at Mestalla, as well as being the last game before the start of the LaLiga campaign.

This will not be the first time that Valencia CF and Atalanta BC have faced each other in the Trofeu Taronja, having done so in the 46th edition, held in 2017, won 1-2 by the team from Bergamo.
