Valencia striker Hugo Duro: A great effort in Real Madrid defeat

Valencia striker Hugo Duro insists there's plenty of positives to take from defeat to Real Madrid.

Duro had Valencia ahead until the final minutes as Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior struck for the visitors.

Afterwards, Duro said: "The team put in a great effort. Real Madrid practically didn't have any chances, which we all know is very hard to make happen. They came back in a five minute spell, and we know what Real Madrid are like, but we'll be working hard to take the win in Wednesday's game against Sevilla.

"You can say that it was a great game, but in the end it was a defeat. We know that we are doing things well, but the important thing is to win, which in the end we didn't do. From tomorrow we'll be preparing for the next game, and working hard."

On his goal, Duro added: "I'm very happy. I didn't know whether to celebrate or not, because I've played for Real Madrid, but it was a special moment with the euphoria and the help of the fans."
