Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah: We showed right attitude in Supercopa defeat

Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah admitted frustration after their Supercopa de Espana semifinal shootout defeat to Real Madrid.

It ended 1-1 after regular time and then after extra time, with Karim Benzema's strike being cancelled out by Samuel Lino. Both goals came shortly either side of half time.

Jose Gaya's miss in the shootout proved the decisive penalty at the end.

Musah said, "We wanted to change the dynamic and bring home a trophy to bring joy to the fans. We gave it our all against a great team like Real Madrid. We must carry this over to LaLiga.

"We were in it for the whole game. I don't know if we were the better side or not,. but we can continue doing this if we did it against a team like Real Madrid. We were brave and we must also be like this in LaLiga.

"We played 120 minutes and we pushed until the end. The team did very well. We are all very fit. We have to continue with this dynamic.

"I am going to take this feeling of anger that I have now, and use it to try to win in the Copa del Rey."
