Valencia goalkeeper Jaume Domenech is delighted with his new contract.

Jaume has penned a new deal to 2024.

He said today: "I've been on the team for ten seasons. In one of the first interviews they did with me when I started, I said that my dream was to be in Valencia all my life. Go down in history by winning titles and making my career in Valencia.

"In a club like Valencia there is always a lot of competition. Valencia has to have great goalkeepers, not one but two and three. My mentality is to contribute if I am playing or if I am on the bench."

Jaume added: "At no time (did I doubt signing the contract). My agent called me at the time and said there was no doubt that everything was agreed. I want to thank the president to Miguel Corona, to Gattuso who has been taking care of me, helping me and encouraging me. It is very important to me that Valencia remains a family."
