Valencia attacker Alberto Mari is expected to be out for 2-3 months after undergoing surgery.

Mari broke down last week and underwent an operation on Monday.

Los Che announced:

"Valencia CF player Alberto Marí has successfully underwent surgery this Monday of the injury of his right rectus femoris muscle.

"The player will now undertake treatment under the supervision of the Club's medical services."
