Valencia coach Marcelino says Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho took their 0-0 draw last night in good spirits.

Marcelino was pleased with his players after the Champions League stalemate and was asked about Mourinho's reaction.

He said, "We have congratulated ourselves, he has been very affectionate before and after the game. I wish him well.

"He is a coach with an incredible track record, in many aspects I always keep him in mind, I try to learn from him and I thank him for the treatment he has shown with me."

Marcelino added: "I think we were a very solid team for ninety minutes, we generated a lot of danger, it is true that we lacked the last pass and the final definition to achieve victory against a powerful opponent. I am very satisfied with what the team has shown during the ninety minutes."
