Valencia coach Baraja: I'd like January signings

Valencia coach Ruben Baraja admits he'd like to make January signings.

Baraja feels his squad is short of quality and experience.

He said, "We made several reflections after the market and we all appreciated that the squad had fallen short. If there is a possibility in the future, it would be good for us to incorporate a player.

"I think it is positive that Valencia has a good youth team. The situation has led us to give opportunities in the first team to several of the youth team.

"Our philosophy is to give continuity and try to advance the process, so that a player who has played 20 games in the Primera Division looks like he has played 100. It helps a lot as the boys' sense of belonging to Valencia helps them grow. It's good for everyone, for the players and also for the fans."
