Valencia are close to reaching an agreement to sign Porto defender Diogo Leite.

The 21-year-old centre-back has made a handful of appearances in the Liga NOS this season and has represented Portugal at youth level, says A Bola.

A deal to bring Leite to Mestalla is almost done and will cost Valencia more than 15 million euros.

Porto are looking to get the transfer done in order to balance their books before June 30 and Leite's agent, Jorge Mendes, is working on finding an agreement.
