Valencia attacker Javi Guerra happy with goal in victory at Sevilla

Valencia attacker Javi Guerra was delighted to score in Saturday's win at Sevilla.

Guerra struck in the surprise 2-1 win.

He said, "I'm very happy with my goal, with the win, and with the effort the team put in. I think there was a clearance and there was a little bit of a battle. Hugo won the ball, ran in and laid it off to me. I didn't think about it much, because I was sure I was going to hit it first time. It turned out well.

"I've scored important goals, at the end of last season and in the opening game today. I'm happy that it lets us start the season with a win, which is the best way, and we have to keep working.

"The fans push a lot here, It's tough to play here. I think that the team were very consistent throughout the game and in the end, we had the chance to win. We're very happy."
