Valencia ace Nani admits he never wanted to leave Manchester United.

The United title winner was sold to Fenerbahce last year before joining Los Che this past summer.

Nani told ESPN: "United were my team, my home. There I earned all my successes, learned most of what I can in this life and won titles.

"I wanted to stay there, but I wanted to play.

"When I joined, the idea was that I would play as often as possible, but that did not happen. So I took my decision and chose to be happy, to enjoy life and football. I was very happy with my decision."
