Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi: My dream the Premier League; if I must leave Liverpool...

Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi is happy with his progress on-loan at Union Berlin - but his hopes are to make it in the Premier League.

He has scored five goals in 19 games so far this season.

"Liverpool will always be my priority and I am grateful to everyone in the club who helped me," Awoniyi told World Soccer.

"I still do not have a work permit to play in England. But with the new laws, and the number of minutes I played in Germany, it's hard to say how it will turn out. A lot has happened lately and it will undoubtedly help me make my own decisions in the future,"

Three years ago, Awoniyi signed with Liverpool to the 2023 season.

"My dream has always been to play in the Premier League and that was why I signed for Liverpool. But if I'm required to move, why not? My future is in God's hands."
