Union Berlin defender Leonardo Bonucci admitted frustration after their Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.

The decisive goal came in the 94th minute through Jude Bellingham, his sixth goal of the season in as many games.

Former Juventus captain Bonucci said: "We knew we had to fight for every ball. With Real Madrid you can never give up, and Bellingham's shot finally came on a rebound."

Asked how his first weeks had been in Germany, Bonucci was upbeat.

"I'm here to help the team grow, I have to find myself by having a great career year."
