Union Berlin have joined the race for Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana.

The January signing from Molde is available for loan from Chelsea this summer.

A move to new French partners Strasbourg has been mooted. However, Union Berlin have jumped into the battle.

Unlike Strasbourg, Union can offer Champions League football to Fofana and are seeking to take him on a season-long loan, says BILD.

Fofana made four appearances for Chelsea last season.
