UNCOVERED: Nunez complained to Van Dijk during Liverpool win against Rangers

Liverpool's Champions League game against Rangers in midweek was a chance for them to get back to winning ways.

The Reds duly obliged, getting a 2-0 victory on the night thanks to Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold's goals.

However, Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez was unable to get on the scoresheet, and he cut a frustrated figure for most of the contest.

At one stage during the match, Nunez was saying something to teammate Virgil Van Dijk as he failed to take another good chance in front of goal.

“No quiere entrar, hermano," Nunez appeared to say, per the Liverpool Echo, which translates to “[the ball] does not want to go in, brother."

Despite his inability to score in the game, many fans believe that Nunez will come good in the next few weeks and months, as he settles into life with the Reds.
