Kostas Tsimikas says Liverpool players have no doubt about the future of Darwin Nunez.

Bouncing back from the red card he received on his home debut against Crystal Palace, Nunez headed into the World Cup break on an excellent run of form he will now look to replicate as club football nears a return.

Tsimikas, who has now been at Anfield for two years, knows all about the challenges of adapting to the Premier League but is well-placed to offer advice in this area after a noticeable improvement during his time at the club.

Discussing Nunez's impact, Tsimikas told the Athletic: "Darwin is such a talented guy. That was clear to all of us when we played Benfica last season. We were very happy when he joined us. All players need some time to adapt to a new system and game plan. Even more so for Darwin as he doesn't speak English, but I'm not worried about him at all. He's going to be a goal machine for us. He's getting better and better."
