Charismatic striker Lee Trundle has surprisingly signed with non-league Welsh outfit Neath FC.
The Daily Mail says Trundle, 33, who snubbed moves to League One clubs Yeovil and Swindon Town, has signed a reputed £2,000-a-week offer with the non-league part-timers.
Former Bristol City striker Trundle was released by the Championship side at the end of last season.
But he will make his Neath debut when the deal is rubber-stamped before Thursday's pre-season friendly with ex-club Swansea City.
Trundle said: "I had other offers from elsewhere. But I wanted to stay in the area and this is an ambitious club."
