Toulouse defender Issa Diop is a target for Chelsea.

The Sunday Mirror says Diop is the next name on Antonio Conte's shopping list.

The France Under-21 international has been playing for his hometown club Toulouse since he was a boy, but Chelsea boss Conte is now close to securing a £15million transfer.

Centre-half Diop, 20, stands an imposing 6ft 4in – and negotiations to bring him to Stamford Bridge are believed to be underway.

Chelsea need to beef up their defensive options and Diop – along with Andreas Christensen – will add competition.
