Tottenham defender William Gallas has taken aim at former Arsenal teammate Samir Nasri.

Gallas hopes football fans will now understand why he never got along with fellow Frenchman and Manchester City player Nasri.

Gallas told the Daily Star Sunday: "People have really learned for themselves who Samir Nasri truly is.

"There was a match with Arsenal in Rome and a serious discussion in the changing room at the end of the match. He lost a ball, I showed my disappointment, and he called me a 'son of a w****'."
