Torpedo Moscow coach Clotet: Bellingham had two passions - Birmingham and Real Madrid

Torpedo Moscow coach Pep Clotet admits Jude Bellingham always saw himself as a Real Madrid player.

Clotet gave Bellingham his debut when Birmingham City manager.

He recalled to AS: “It had to be in February or March 2020.

"We were analyzing Champions League football and he positioned himself a lot about Madrid. He was already for Birmingham and Madrid. That's why I'm very excited to see that same spirit that I saw in him playing with us now playing for his club.

"He dares, he looks comfortable, with many resources. I am very happy that Bellingham is doing well for himself and Madrid."

Clotet added, “I am sure that Jude Bellingham will mark an era at Real Madrid."
