Torino president Urbano Cairo hasn't given up on keeping hold of Chelsea fullback Ola Aina next season.

With the campaign now over, Cairo will make a fresh move to buy the Nigeria international outright.

Chelsea knocked back a previous Cairo attempt earlier this month, but he is ready to try again.

For their part, Chelsea's stand may now soften with doubts over the future of manager Maurizio Sarri.

It had been primarily Sarri who had insisted Aina return to Chelsea for preseason later this summer.
