Swedish attacker Ola Toivonen is set to leave Melbourne Victory.

The 33-year-old has been with the Australian club, but it appears he is heading back to Europe.

Sport Expressen reports that he has a verbal agreement with Malmo.

While no contracts have been signed, Toivonen playing for Malmo is seen as a near certainty.

The striker has enjoyed a great career, playing for the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Rennes and Toulouse.

He was with Malmo from 2007 to 2009.
