Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is launching a bid for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe today.

Before Friday's transfer deadline, Florentino intends to prise Mbappe away from the Parisians.

VozPópuli says Real Madrid are close to acquiring Mbappé and the transfer could be announced in the next few hours.

Florentino has now taken the reins of negotiations to close a deal for the France superstar.

Although the amount of the possible transfer is not specified, it's been claimed PSG have been insisting Mbappe will only leave for €150m or more this summer.

Mbappe's current deal has less than 12 months to run.
