Chelsea could offer the manager's job to Mauricio Pochettino later today.

Blues co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, who have been driving the search to replace Graham Potter, are meeting today to make a decision on Pochettino.

The Times says a meeting is to take place in Los Angeles on Saturday where Winstanley and Stewart could make a contractual offer to Pochettino.

Former Tottenham and PSG manager Pochettino has discussed backroom staff and summer market plans with Chelsea directors.

Should he accept the offer, it hasn't been ruled out Pochettino immediately taking charge, so replacing caretaker manager Frank Lampard in the process.
