Timo Werner is delighted to have returned to RB Leipzig.
The Germany striker's move from Chelsea was completed on Tuesday.
Werner said: "I am happy to be able to play in Leipzig again.
"I have had great years from 2016 to 2020, playing brilliantly as a newly promoted player. I left as top scorer, now it is time to look forward. I am grateful to Chelsea for these two years of winning the Champions League.
"The experience of playing abroad has helped me and my career.
"To the Leipzig fans, I want to be the first player to reach 100 goals with this team."
