Timber upbeat on surgery recovery as Arsenal confident

Arsenal summer signing Jurrien Timber is on his way to recovering from a serious injury.

Timber has undergone surgery and is now in rehabilitation for the next few weeks.

Per football.london, his surgery on an ACL injury occurred two weeks ago, as he looks to get back to his best.

Asked how he was feeling with his recovery, a swift, “Good, good" was the response on Sunday.

Timber will be out for a majority of this season, but Arsenal believe he will make a full, long-term recovery.

The Dutch international signed for around £40 million, but went down in his first Premier League appearance.

The Gunners will have less defensive cover while he is absent, but can rely on the likes of Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu to play at right-back.
