Thiago Silva is ready to sign a new contract with Chelsea.

According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Silva's deal isn't in doubt

He adds that the Brazilian will extend his stay until June 2023, and only formalities now stand in the way.

Toni Rudiger, however, is proving more difficult to extend. Both players are off contract in June.

The German, 28, is attracting plenty of interest from around Europe.

Romano adds that there has been no change in Rudiger's situation, with negotiations at a stalemate.
