Thanawat Suengchitthawon is thrilled with his move to Leicester City.

After seven years with Nancy, the 20 year-old was allowed to come off contract this summer. But he has now signed with the Foxes.

Suengchitthawon, a former U16 and U17 France international, told Foot Mercato: "I was happy and proud! It's a club that already wanted me three years ago. I am in a hurry to get it started. I am only waiting for that.

“I felt the Leicester project. It was the one that interested me and suited me the most. I'll start with the U23s. Then it's up to me to prove myself.

"It will allow me to change my game, to strengthen it. England is known for its high pace. I have to work on the physical even if, on the cardio, I don't worry about it."

With Leicester, Suengchitthawon has signed a first pro contract.
