Chelsea captain John Terry has urged management to secure teammates to new contracts.

He said: "At the same time, we need to keep hold of lads like Didier Drogba, Ashley and Joe Cole who are up for contract talks.

"They're great people. People like Ash, Didier and Lamps have been fantastic this year.

"Roman still has big plans for the club, most definitely. I think we'll see Chelsea back and competing for the top players who are out there."
