Former Manchester United winger Lee Sharpe says Mason Mount doesn't deserve the No7 shirt.

Mount arrived in the summer from Chelsea.

Sharpe told the Daily Express: "It [United's summer transfer window] was okay.

"There wasn't anyone who really came in and sort of blew everyone else out of the water, who was a surprise, who was a huge, huge signing.

"Mason Mount could turn out to be a good signing, but he wasn't getting into the Chelsea team, and Chelsea are struggling, so I'm not sure where that puts him.

"But it was a bold move to make him the new No 7 after the No 7s we've had at the club."
