Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag admitted he is under pressure after the team's poor start to the season.

The Dutchman avoided saying the club is in crisis after a 3-1 loss to Brighton at home in the Premier League.

However, Ten Hag admitted that if his side loses more games in the coming weeks, he will be in trouble.

Asked by reporters if he felt under pressure, Ten Hag said: “The pressure is always there. It was last year and this year is no different.

“Of course, at United, you have to win your games. We have to improve and I can't be distracted.

“We have to improve. Individuals have to step up. Sometimes you are in bad periods and you have to face that."
