Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insists he can still be the man to bring the glory days back to the club.
The Old Trafford side may be contemplating parting company with Ten Hag if results continue to dip.
However, the Dutchman retains that faith for now, while he believes that he is the ideal person to right the wrongs at United.
"There will always be tough times in every journey," he told reporters after a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United and ahead of a crucial home game against Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday.
"We are in the right direction. I know we will get there where we want to be.
“Because – see my record. Everywhere where I was, every season, I got my targets.
“If we stick together, stick to the plan and the strategy, we will get where we want to be."
