Teemu Pukki celebrates own 'Perfect Finnish Amber Ale' with Norwich winner

Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has been honoured by East Anglian brewery Woodforde's with a special-edition pint of beer to celebrate the club's promotion.

Woodforde's, an official partner of Norwich City FC, launched The Perfect Finnish Amber Ale last month and initially made it exclusively available to fans at the Canaries' home ground Carrow Road.

While Pukki's goals helped fire Norwich to the Premier League, he also registered 10 times for his country Finland as they secured qualification for their first ever European Championships this summer.

Speaking with Tribal Football after Norwich's home win against Bournemouth on Saturday, Woodforde's Brewery commercial and marketing director James Armitage said: "We're proud to partner the club to brew this beer.

"We hope we've done Teemu justice by creating a beer that, like him, is a huge hit with the fans, high in quality, has great balance and always achieves the perfect finish."

Norwich City head of commercial operations Sam Jeffery added: "Having seen Teemu and the Huuhkajat propel themselves to the European Championships it only seems fitting that there should be something appropriate to drink to celebrate.

"It's great to see that Woodforde's have been able to use this ale to recognize their outstanding achievement."

Norwich brought themselves within six points of safety after their 1-0 win against Bournemouth of Saturday.

Fittingly, it was Pukki who scored the winner from the penalty spot following a blatant handball from defender Steve Cook.

The Perfect Finnish is now available in pubs across East Anglia.
