Aurelien Tchouameni feels Real Madrid had a chance to sign PSG striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The pair are again together with France this week.

Tchouameni said at his presser today: "Of course it was a possibility. Many things can happen in soccer. All the teams in the world want him.

"He's with PSG now, so we're not going to talk about it anymore. We are very happy with what we have right now."

On the other hand, about his Real first season, Tchouaméni acknowledges having improved from last season.

He added: "Last season was very rewarding for me, and at the end of each season I took stock of where I could improve. That allowed me to launch a specific program this summer that has worked well at the beginning of the season."
