Takefusa Kubo says Real Sociedad have helped him reach his best form.

The Japan midfielder is in his second season since leaving Real Madrid for La Real.

Kubo said, "La Real helped me vindicate myself as a footballer because I think I was not in a good moment and they got me back on that train that takes you to success.

"I think that Real's ceiling is not the same as last year. In the League, maintain that position to be able to compete for the Champions League spot but try to chase those at the top, because I think that if you look back, they chase you with enormous speed.

"This year I want to be important, just like last year but I also want to appear in those moments that the team has the need."
