There is hope of a swift release by kidnappers of the father of Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz in Colombia.
The government have announced the National Liberation Army (ELA) are holding Luis Manuel Diaz after his kidnapping on the weekend.
And it's emerged the decision made to take Diaz Snr was not authorised by ELA command.
Liverpool reporter Paul Gorst has stated on Twitter: "Now being claimed by @VickyDavilaH that ELN were actually unaware their men had taken Luis Manuel Diaz and will now ask for release of Liverpool star's father.
"Hopefully brings about a speedy and safe resolution to a horrifying few days for Diaz's family."
