Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup is reviving his bid for Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas.
The Western Mail says Aspas, 25, has hit 10 goals in La Liga but it looks unlikely to be enough to keep Celta in Primera enabling Laudrup to make a cut-price swoop.
It could even see Aspas arrive for lower than the £8m fee that would trigger a release clause in the striker's contract, who has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.
Laudrup's confidence in landing Aspas was believed to be part of the reason he gave Danny Graham's £5m switch to Sunderland his blessing, telling club insiders he felt able to do more with the money the Mackems gave for a player who has yet to score since his switch.
