Sam Surridge is hoping to score his first Premier League goal next season after breaking on the scene with Bournemouth.
The young striker bagged 12 goals while on loan at League Two outfit Oldham Athletic last season.
He has returned early from preseason training in a bid to impress Cherries boss Eddie Howe.
"Next season will be a game changer for me," he said. "I want to work as hard as I can and see what happens in pre-season.
"The main goal is obviously to play for Bournemouth.
"It's a clean slate in pre-season – that's where I can catch his (Howe's) eye and show what I can do."
Surridge added: "Every appearance I get for the club is massive for me but obviously my next aim now is to get a Premier League goal. Hopefully next season I'll get a couple of chances to do that."
