Portuguese kid Pedro Carneiro is set for a fresh chance at Premier League football.

The Sun says Sunderland boss David Moyes is ready to snap up Carneiro.

The 18-year-old midfielder is a free agent and has been with the Black Cats for a few days as he tries to win a contract.

Pedro, who began his career at Manchester City before an injury-hit spell with Barnsley, is also wanted by Benfica.
