Jozy Altidore is a reported target for at least three Major League Soccer clubs.
That is the word coming from ESPN's Taylor Twellman who suggests the 25-year old USA striker could be on his way back to MLS from Premier League club Sunderland.
Former USA, 1860 Munich and New England Revolution striker Twellman, now a pundit with ESPN, posted on Twitter that Altidore is the subject of interest from a trio of MLS outfits believed to be Toronto FC, New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers according to his hashtags.
Multiple sources tell me Jozy Altidore and @MLS are in discussions about his return this winter with 3 teams applying. #TFC#RBNY#POR

Former Red Bulls ace Altidore has struggled during his time at the Stadium of Light since arriving from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar in 2013.
The 75-time US international has made just two starts in England's top flight this season which has taken his overall Black Cats appearance tally to 52 which has yielded just three goals.
