Sunderland reserves coach Keith Bertschin was delighted with Fraizer Campbell's playing return this week against Bolton Wanderers.
Former Manchester United striker Campbell looked lively and came close on a number of occasions against an experienced Bolton side who asked and gave no quarter during a bruising 90 minutes.
"Fraizer kept the ball well for us and with every game he plays he's looking a bit more like it.
"He'll need a few more games - you have to appreciate the length of time he's been out.""It was a physical battle and if you come into that sort of game only half at it you'll soon find yourself in trouble," Bertschin told safc.com.
