Sunderland have identified their summer transfer targets according to Dick Advocaat.
Chairman Ellis Short has promised funds for new signings and the Black Cats recruitment team, led by sporting director Lee Congerton, know the players they want to sign.
Advocaat did not touch on any particular names but it is believed that West Ham United winger Stewart Downing and Dynamo Kyiv attacker Jeremain Lens are among their main targets while Everton's Aiden McGeady is also on the radar.
"A couple of weeks ago, we had a very good meeting with the chairman and he's willing to do something," Advocaat told the club's official website.
"In that way, he's so much involved in the club. He wants to do the best for this club. "Hopefully we can do that and bring in the right players for the right price."
