Sunderland boss Gus Poyet wants to keep hold of all his loan signings.
The Black Cats have five loanees on the books.
Poyet told the Evening Chronicle: "What is good is that we know them, and it is always best if you know a player before you bring them to the club.
"You know how they react, their character - everything.
"In my experience, when I have had players on loan and then brought them in full-time, they have always been spectacular for the club.
"You know them so well, you don't make a mistake.
"With someone completely new, who knows?
"But Fabio Borini, Ki Sung-Yueng, Ondrej Celustka, Marcos Alonso, Oscar Ustari and Santiago Vergini, they are easy decisions to make."
