Former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is backing his old club to sign Brentford ace Ivan Toney.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has opened up about selling Toney, but the price tag is expected to be at least £80m.

Former England international Sturridge said, "I would say that he fits into Chelsea the most, he could play for Spurs. I'm not sure who needs him the most because they all need him.

"He is a top striker and deserves that opportunity, Evan Ferguson is another, I think he has that 'killer instinct' and the way he scores and finishes.

"I look at him and I can see that he is driven by goals and wants to do it."
