Stoke boss Pulis admits Owen not ready for full 90

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Michael Owen isn't ready to play a full 90.

The former England striker has been struggling with niggling injuries and was again ruled out of yesterday's match against Chelsea.

Pulis said: "I think Michael needs a couple more games to regain his sharpness.

"He trained really well this week. Having 50-odd minutes at Palace has given him a lot of confidence just to play a proper game."
