St Etienne due windfall as Brentford to sell Maupay to Sheffield Utd

St Etienne is counting on a windfall from Brentford over the expected sale of Neal Maupay.

Premier League new boys Sheffield United are in talks to sign the striker.

RMC says the Blades will aim to buy Maupay for €16-18m in the coming days.

And former club ASSE will be due 20 per cent of any fee the Bees sell Maupay for.

Last season, Maupay scored 25 goals for Brentford along with producing eight assists.
